All living beings are driven by their basic needs, and humans, in particular, are additionally driven by their wants and wishes.

Some people succeed, while others struggle or fail to achieve what they need, want, and desire. Even those who achieve success in their careers may not necessarily find happiness in their lives. Why?

Conversely, some who fail in their careers may still find happiness in their personal lives. Why?

When we delve deeper, we see that each person is driven by their Core Values.

Core Values are the fundamental beliefs or principles that guide a person’s behaviour, decisions, and actions. These values influence both short-term and long-term achievements. Whether we realize it or not, these principles continuously shape our lives.

If you are a religious person, texts like the Bhagavad Gita, Bible, and Quran offer wisdom on living a righteous life, emphasizing principles such as compassion, honesty, humility, respect, and justice. By reflecting on these scriptures’ stories, commandments, and teachings, individuals can derive fundamental beliefs that guide their actions and decisions.

But have you considered that humans who are religious or spiritual can also be terrorists, scammers, or narrow-minded?

The fact is, the way you understand your religious and spiritual texts is also influenced by your inherent values. Blindly following what is written in your books will not help you. The key is to gain the wisdom to think beyond.

Therefore, identifying your core values—understanding what has driven you throughout your life and what will continue to drive you—is essential for resolving inner conflicts, managing relationships with others, and achieving personal compatibility and career aspirations.

Stay tuned for further exploration of the inner self…
